Step 1: prime your eyes
Step 2: use Maybelline color tattoo in Barley Branded all over eyelid
Step 3: apply Mac eyeshadow in Nylon from inner corner to the middle of your eye
Step 4: apply any NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in French Fries to the other 1/3 of your eye
Step 5: put a matte black eyeshadow in your outer V
Step 6: blend, blend, blend!
Step 7: apply NYX eyeliner in the color Moss on the outer half of your lower lashline
Step 8: apply Nylon to the rest of your lower lashline
Step 9: line your eyes with your favortie eyeliner (I skipped this part so you could see the shadow better)
Step 10: ENJOY!!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

Hey guys!! I want to talk about the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils today! There are raves about in the beauty community, and I can understand why. They are the equivalent to a cream eyeshadow in crayon form! Who doesn't love crayons? The formula for these is creamy, and very blendable. I would, however, using a eye primer under them, just to make sure the colors don't fade. The packing can be a little annoying though, because the caps shatter a little if you put them on too far down. Also, unlike other eye and lip pencils, these need to be sharpened. I personally have not needed to sharpen mine yet, but I can imagine it will be tiresome, as the packaging is plastic. The colors are very pigmented, and can easily be built up. In conclusion, I think these are very nice, but I would rather them twist up instead of requiring a sharpener.

Eye look with Maybelline Color Tattoos

Hello my lovelies! I know this is a blog for reviews, but I couldn't help posting some makeup looks! Since I have previously reviewed the Maybelline Color Tattoos, I thought this was a good first tutorial! This look is pretty natural, and great for school or work. I used the colors Bad to the Bronze, and Barley Branded. So what are we waiting for? Lets get started!

Step 1- prime your eyes (this step is not crucial, as the shadows will stay without a primer)
Step 2- apply Bad to the Bronze on outer outer corner of the eye, bringing it in about 1/3 of the way into your eye
Step 3- apply Barley Branded all over or lid stopping at the bronze
Step 4- blend the meeting point of the two colors and add a little more bronze if needed
Step 5- apply Barley Branded into inner corner
Step 6- use your favorite mascara*
Step 7- ENJOY!

* I used Maybelline The Rocket

Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow palette in Moonlit Jewels

Hey guys! I am going to review the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow palette in Moonlit Jewels! I bought this quad over the summer, and it is ok. There are four very pigmented colors, but in this particular quad they aren't all very wearable. The colors consist of gold-brown, chocolate brown, mossy green, and royal blue. They all have a illuminating shimmer to them, which is very nice for a brightening eye look. Unless you like using colored eyeshadow, only two of the colors are really useful. The consistently is nice and creamy and they are very blendable. The downside though, is that they crease. I put the good color on both eyes, one with a primer, and one without. It surprised me when the side with primer creased more than the side without. After an hour both sides had creased, the side with primer being very bad. The packaging is cute, and very efficient as the shadows are located in the lid, so they are upside down. (Cream shadows should be stored upside down) Overall, I like this product, but would probably not repurchase it unless I found a different shade I love.

E.L.F Studio Blushes

Hello guys! Want to try some new blush colors, but don't want to spend too much? The E.L.F blushes are perfect for that! They are only $3, and they are very good quality. I bought two, very different, colors for experimentation purposes. The first one is Candid Coral, which is a very pretty dark coral color with gold shimmers. I think it will look absolutely stunning in the summer to give you a little color and warmth to your cheeks. I also purchased Pink Passion, which is matt and brightest Barbie pink you can imagine! This one is very fun to wear if your looking for a little more color, but it is still buildable and blendable. Both blushes have very nice and smooth textures and good pigmentation. The one thing that confuses me though, is why only one of them has E.L.F. Imprinted in it. That has no effect on the product though. The blushes themselves are about as big as a credit card, and the packaging is very sturdy and protective. Inside is a teeny-tiny mirror that is practically useless, but a nice touch nonetheless. They can be a little tricky to open, but I expect them to loosen up over time. I think they are really great for experimenting, or just everyday wear; and I would definitely recommend them.

Maybelline Color Whisper lipsticks

Well, hello lovelies! You have probably seen these cute lipsticks around your local Target or drugstore, as they are fairly new products. The Color Whisper lipsticks are very similar to the Revlon Lip Butters, and the Loreal Le Balm butters. They are sheer and glossy, but are also moisturizing. I bought the colors Rose of Attraction and Pink Possibilities, and I love them! Pink Possibilities is a very pretty bright pink color, since it is sheer it is really easy to build the color up. Rose of Attraction is a light rose color with sparkles, and I believe it is the only one in the line with sparkles. They are both very versatile, and could be worn in all seasons. Overall, I think that these products are very good for keeping in your purse for a splash of color, but wouldn't recommend them for anyone looking for long lasting color.

Maybelline Color Tattoos

Hi guys! I have has the Maybelline Color Tattoos for a while now, and I love them. My newest addition to my collection is the color Barley Branded from their Metal collection. I wanted this color for quite some time, and finally found it in-stock at Ulta. Barley Branded is definitely my favorite color of the bunch, as it is a light champagne nude color. It is perfect all over your lid to brighten up your eyes. They all have interesting consistencies, a half-gel half-cream feel. This makes is super easy and convenient to apply it with your fingers, or a brush. As for the claim to last 24 hours...it does. I can literally put this eyeshadow on at six in the morning, and if I forget to take my makeup off (bad I know), it will still be on by the next morning. If you can get your hands on these babies go and get some! They have plenty of neutral shades, but also some very fun ones! The prices vary depending on what store you go to, but I got my for around $6-8. So what are you waiting for? Go get some!
