I want to talk about the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils today! There are raves about in the beauty community, and I can understand why. They are the equivalent to a cream eyeshadow in crayon form! Who doesn't love crayons? The formula for these is creamy, and very blendable. I would, however, using a eye primer under them, just to make sure the colors don't fade. The packing can be a little annoying though, because the caps shatter a little if you put them on too far down. Also, unlike other eye and lip pencils, these need to be sharpened. I personally have not needed to sharpen mine yet, but I can imagine it will be tiresome, as the packaging is plastic. The colors are very pigmented, and can easily be built up. In conclusion, I think these are very nice, but I would rather them twist up instead of requiring a sharpener.
I know this is a blog for reviews, but I couldn't help posting some makeup looks! Since I have previously reviewed the Maybelline Color Tattoos, I thought this was a good first tutorial! This look is pretty natural, and great for school or work. I used the colors Bad to the Bronze, and Barley Branded. So what are we waiting for? Lets get started!

Step 1- prime your eyes (this step is not crucial, as the shadows will stay without a primer)
Step 2- apply Bad to the Bronze on outer outer corner of the eye, bringing it in about 1/3 of the way into your eye
Step 3- apply Barley Branded all over or lid stopping at the bronze
Step 4- blend the meeting point of the two colors and add a little more bronze if needed
Step 5- apply Barley Branded into inner corner
Step 6- use your favorite mascara*
Step 7- ENJOY!
I am going to review the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow palette in Moonlit Jewels! I bought this quad over the summer, and it is ok. There are four very pigmented colors, but in this particular quad they aren't all very wearable. The colors consist of gold-brown, chocolate brown, mossy green, and royal blue. They all have a illuminating shimmer to them, which is very nice for a brightening eye look. Unless you like using colored eyeshadow, only two of the colors are really useful. The consistently is nice and creamy and they are very blendable. The downside though, is that they crease. I put the good color on both eyes, one with a primer, and one without. It surprised me when the side with primer creased more than the side without. After an hour both sides had creased, the side with primer being very bad. The packaging is cute, and very efficient as the shadows are located in the lid, so they are upside down. (Cream shadows should be stored upside down) Overall, I like this product, but would probably not repurchase it unless I found a different shade I love.
Want to try some new blush colors, but don't want to spend too much? The E.L.F blushes are perfect for that! They are only $3, and they are very good quality. I bought two, very different, colors for experimentation purposes. The first one is Candid Coral, which is a very pretty dark coral color with gold shimmers. I think it will look absolutely stunning in the summer to give you a little color and warmth to your cheeks. I also purchased Pink Passion, which is matt and brightest Barbie pink you can imagine! This one is very fun to wear if your looking for a little more color, but it is still buildable and blendable. Both blushes have very nice and smooth textures and good pigmentation. The one thing that confuses me though, is why only one of them has E.L.F. Imprinted in it. That has no effect on the product though. The blushes themselves are about as big as a credit card, and the packaging is very sturdy and protective. Inside is a teeny-tiny mirror that is practically useless, but a nice touch nonetheless. They can be a little tricky to open, but I expect them to loosen up over time. I think they are really great for experimenting, or just everyday wear; and I would definitely recommend them.
You have probably seen these cute lipsticks around your local Target or drugstore, as they are fairly new products. The Color Whisper lipsticks are very similar to the Revlon Lip Butters, and the Loreal Le Balm butters. They are sheer and glossy, but are also moisturizing. I bought the colors Rose of Attraction and Pink Possibilities, and I love them! Pink Possibilities is a very pretty bright pink color, since it is sheer it is really easy to build the color up. Rose of Attraction is a light rose color with sparkles, and I believe it is the only one in the line with sparkles. They are both very versatile, and could be worn in all seasons. Overall, I think that these products are very good for keeping in your purse for a splash of color, but wouldn't recommend them for anyone looking for long lasting color.
I have has the Maybelline Color Tattoos for a while now, and I love them. My newest addition to my collection is the color Barley Branded from their Metal collection. I wanted this color for quite some time, and finally found it in-stock at Ulta. Barley Branded is definitely my favorite color of the bunch, as it is a light champagne nude color. It is perfect all over your lid to brighten up your eyes. They all have interesting consistencies, a half-gel half-cream feel. This makes is super easy and convenient to apply it with your fingers, or a brush. As for the claim to last 24 hours...it does. I can literally put this eyeshadow on at six in the morning, and if I forget to take my makeup off (bad I know), it will still be on by the next morning. If you can get your hands on these babies go and get some! They have plenty of neutral shades, but also some very fun ones! The prices vary depending on what store you go to, but I got my for around $6-8. So what are you waiting for? Go get some!
I have been on the look for a new concealer for quite some time now. When I saw Missglamorazzi on YouTube talking about her all time favorite concealer, Physicians Formula Conceal RX, I had to try it myself. I bought the shade Fair Light, which I believe is their lightest shade. Right when I tried it on my hand, I was incredibly impressed with the coverage. It is almost full coverage, but still looks very natural. I use this under my eyes to hide dark circles and puffiness, and it does make me look a little ashen in those areas. I'm not sure whether it is the color I chose, or all of them have gray-ish undertones. The consistency is very creamy and blendable. Overall I am impressed with the product and the coverage, but I wish the color was a little better suited for under-eye areas.
The Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express mascara caught my eye right when it went on the shelfs. I was super excited to try it because of all the hype it was getting. I ordered it from Target about a month ago, and I LOVE it! First off: the wand is HUGE! It is great though because it really separates and defines every lash. Unlike most mascaras that only give you either length or volume, this one gives you both. The formula is on the wetter side, and builds amazingly. You could absolutely wear one coat to school or work, and then add a few more coats for a false-lash effect at night. Overall this mascara is a must have, and at such a low price who can resist?
About a month ago I purchased the Maybelline One by One mascara. I absolutely love this mascara, and is one of my all time favorites. This mascara separates your lashes like none other, and makes it appear like you have tons of lashes! The formula is pretty wet, but even if you prefer drier mascara, you will still love this! The brush is rubber, with tons of little tiny bristles. When I run out (which will be soon) I am definitely repurchasing this as a staple to my collection. Thanks for reading! What is your favorite mascara?
Hey guys! Over the summer and into the fall I have been using the Revlon Lip Butters a lot! I first decided to try them because of all of the hype and amazing reviews. Let's just say I was definitely not disappointed! The Lip Butters are a mix between a tinted lip ban and a lipstick. While they give you more color than a tinted lip balm, they moisturize more than a lipstick. The colors are very pigmented, and they have a very wide range of shades. I have four, all in very different colors. I have:
~Peach Parfait (dark peachy rose with some sparkles)
~Strawberry Shortcake (bright strawberry pink)
~Creamsicle (creamy orangey peach)
~Berry Smoothie (dark berry)

Hey guys! Long time no talk! Today I wanted to share with you guys my favorite lotion combo. I recently purchased the Vaseline Total Moisture Coco Radiant lotion, and WOW it smells sooooooo good! To go along with it I also got the Vaseline Total Moisture Coco Radiant body gel oil. After I shower at night I mix them together in my hand I rub it into my legs. I usually do a 25/75 ratio of oil to lotion, and it gives my legs a luxurious feel! In the morning some of the oil is left on my legs, giving them the perfect non-oily shine! Both of these products are wonderful for the rapidly approaching cold weather, and will keep your body healthy and beautiful! Thanks for reading!
So I have been on the search for a new mascara! I didn't want something that made my lashes look longer (crazy I know), because my lashes are already as long as I want them to look! So I found the Loreal Million Lashes! The packaging is so pretty and expensive looking, and it says it has a "clean sweep" system (??)! When I tried it I really liked it and it did make it look like I had a million lashes! I got the waterproof kind, and to test it I put it on right before a shower. OMG! It didn't run, smudge, or come off at all! It was AMAZING! As I kept trying it though, I realized that it isn't anything too, too special aside from the waterproof-ness. Regardless I really like the product and will keep using it. The question is: Will I repurchase it?
Hey guys! So I recently purchased the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stain! I got this thinking it would be a good dupe for the Clinique Chubby Sticks! I got the color Charm, which is a very pretty peach color, and I love it! It has the perfect feel, so it doesn't feel to heavy! I also love the fact that it is a lip stain. The color lasts for a couple hours, which is pretty impressive for a drugstore product. However it does dry out your lips a little bit after the balm part wears off...but really who doesn't like putting on chapstick? Haha I know I constantly put it on! So ya, I would definitely try these out, and you can find them at most drugstores! I found mine at Target for about $7. Thanks for reading!
So I was at lush a couple weeks ago and I saw the coolest thing there...solid shampoo! They come in little round puck-like discs and are super fun to use. All you have to do is when your hair is wet take the disk and lather it in your hands then take the disk and rub it on the top of your head a couple times then lather it up with your hands. They have quite a few different options based on what you want it to do. The one I got is called Seanik and it makes your hair shinier and cleaner. I use it with my normal conditioner and my hair is so much softer and shinier! It gets your hair so clean it won't even start to get oily for at least 2-3 days! You will need a conditioner though, as your hair gets literally "squeaky clean". If you have oily hair I would definitely check this out; and if your hair isn't super oily still go check it out!
Oh and it looks kind of weird considering it is bright blue and has seaweed in it, buuuut the seaweed makes your hair shinier!
So I love the Rosebud Lip Salve! Since the original is very gooey I like to put it on after I wash my face before bed. I recently went to a dance competition and I took my Minted Rose Lip Balm and all of my friends loved it! The Strawberry Lip Balm smells soooooo good too! I love this stuff! If you ever need a hydrating lip balm I would absolutely try this!
So I think I just found my new favorite lip balm (besides EOS of course)! They are the Rosebud Balms! I recently got these and I fell in love with them! The original product is Smith's Rosebud Salve and can be used for a number of different things. It says on the tin that it may help relieve, chapped lips and skin, diaper rash, blemishes, detergent burns, and rough cuticles, and it may soften rough hands! I will be testing out all of these options and getting back to you on how it works! Right when I got the salve I opened it up ad put some on my lips! OMG! It feels so good on your lips and it is soooooo moisturizing! I got 6 different kinds of the lip balm/salve which include:
-Rosebud Salve
-Minted Rose Lip Balm
-Strawberry Lip Balm (this smells soooo good! It smells like the Haribo strawberries and cream candies!)
- Mocha Rose Lip balm
- Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm
- Menthol and Eucalyptus Balm

I have tried the original one, and LOVE it! I am looking forward to trying the rest too! If you need something to help your chapped lips, get the Rosebud Salve! I have also heard that you can use it on your elbows or knees to moisturize them (but only the salve, the others are only lip balm).

P.S.- I will post pictures of the products soon, along with more reviews!

Disclaimer: I was sent these products to review, and did not purchase them with my own money.
So my first review is going to be on eos lip balm! I absolutely LOVE eos! This is the best lip balm and is so much fun to put on! My first one was Honeysuckle Honeydew and it is amazing! I later got 2 more for Christmas in the flavors Summer Fruit and Lemon Drop SPF 15. These lip balms are 95% organic and 100% natural, and the moisture lasts for hours (except you will want to put in on every 5 seconds)! I am so happy I got these and will definitely be re-purchasing them!
